The surfaces on the outside of the magazine show shelf wear from not being properly protected. The staples in the spine are still nice and tight. Please carefully review our photographs for more detail. There is quite a lot of thumb wear on the page openings and the corners and edges show some light dog ears as well as some tiny chips in the paper. This magazine was pawned and shows plenty of wear from previous viewing. Vanessa Williams was, apparently, an afterthought and not the main feature of the magazine even though she is featured on the cover with George Burns. Lords was under age at the time her photographs were taken. This collectable magazine was pulled from newsstands because it was discovered that Ms. Up for auction is a 15 th Anniversary edition of the September, 1984, issue of Penthouse Magazine, featuring the later dethroned Miss America Vanessa Williams and (then and under age) pornography star Tracy Lords, who is featured in the center of the magazine. ![]()
